LONDON |
During a 3 week course, we visit London 3 times.
The first trip is a cultural trip visiting Trafalgar Square, Buckingham
Palace, St James’ park and Westminster with a visit to the British
Museum or the Houses of Parliament.
The second trip begins with a visit to an attraction linked to your
project. You will be in your project team, accompanied by your teacher
and will get ideas to enhance your project show. You are then taken
to Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus where you
will have time to explore and shop. After dinner in McDonalds, you
will be taken on a tour of London by night before returning to Haileybury.
The third visit includes a visit to the Science Museum, Kensington
and free time for shopping.

Cambridge |
After a walking tour of the beautiful Cambridge University colleges,
we have lunch on the ‘Backs’, the opportunity to try your
hand at punting on the river Cam and free time for shopping |

Windsor |
Experience the Changing of the Guard at Windsor Castle, a walking
tour of the towns’ main attractions and lunch by the river.
Rowing on the tranquil river Thames is followed by shopping.

St Albans |
Walk through the beautiful Verulamium park to the cathedral then wander
round St Albans market or sample the unusual shops. |
|
| |
|
|
Hertford |
A welcome by the mayor of Hertford starts this trip, followed by a
Town Trail round our local town. |
